Patrick Ryan, D.O.

For more than three decades, Dr. Patrick Ryan has practiced medicine in the Little River and North Myrtle Beach area. His long history in the community includes experience with Waterway Family Medicine, Carolina Health Specialists, Little River Medical Center, and other local practices.

Board-certified in Family Practice by the American Osteopathic Board of Family Practice, Dr. Ryan has built his career around family medicine. He has practiced at Waterway Family Medicine in Little River since 2007, following earlier roles throughout the Grand Strand region.

Dr. Ryan earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from the University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kansas City, Missouri. He then completed a rotating internship and Family Practice residency at Still Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City, Missouri. Before medical school, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from California State University at Fullerton.

Licensed to practice medicine in both South Carolina and North Carolina, Dr. Ryan is also affiliated with the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians and the American Osteopathic Association. His decades of experience reflect a long-standing connection to family medicine and the Grand Strand communities.
