Dr. Peter Busse
Dr. Peter Busse’s path into medicine has been shaped by a broad education in health and science. Before earning his medical degree, he studied biology, chemistry, physiology, and chiropractic care, building a foundation that would later support his work as a physician.
His medical education took him from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in Monterrey, Mexico, to the University of New Mexico School of Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. Dr. Busse then completed his residency at Self Memorial Hospital in Greenwood, South Carolina, with training in the Emergency Department.
After completing his medical training, he continued his career in South Carolina. Dr. Busse spent more than 15 years as a physician with Little River Medical Center in the Myrtle Beach area before joining Agape Senior Primary Care, doing business as LTC Health Solutions, in 2011. His professional background also includes work with Alternative Health Clinic in Myrtle Beach.
Long before medical school, Dr. Busse earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language from Southern Illinois University. He later completed a Doctor of Chiropractic degree at the National College of Chiropractic in Illinois, adding another area of healthcare education to a career that would ultimately lead him to medicine.
With decades of experience caring for patients in South Carolina, Dr. Busse brings together an extensive educational background and years of clinical practice.
