Andrea Krause, MSN, ACNP-BC

Acute Care Nurse Practitioner 

Andrea Krause, MSN, ACNP-BC, is an experienced Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a clinical background spanning cardiology, gastroenterology, and complex chronic disease management. With more than two decades of experience in healthcare, she brings a patient-centered approach focused on improving outcomes, supporting independence, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care. 

Andrea currently serves patients through a multidisciplinary care model that emphasizes prevention, coordinated treatment, and helping individuals remain safely in their homes and communities whenever possible. She has extensive experience managing complex medical conditions, including heart failure and chronic cardiovascular disease, and is skilled in interpreting diagnostic testing, developing individualized care plans, and guiding patients through the continuum of care. 

Prior to her current role, Andrea spent several years specializing in heart failure management at Palmetto Health Heart Hospital, where she cared for patients ranging from stable to critically ill. She was actively involved in quality improvement initiatives and helped support the hospital’s achievement of Joint Commission certification for heart failure care. Earlier in her career, she worked in advanced cardiac programs caring for patients with heart transplants, LVADs, and pulmonary hypertension. 

In addition to her clinical work, Andrea has expanded her expertise in wellness and aesthetic medicine, including training in neurotoxins, dermal fillers, and facial pain therapies through the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. 

Andrea earned her Master of Science in Nursing in Acute Care from Marquette University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh. She is board-certified as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)

Andrea is passionate about building strong relationships with her patients and helping them achieve the best possible quality of life through thoughtful, individualized care.
