Sandy Quick

Sandy Quick, FNP-C, has spent decades caring for patients in a wide variety of healthcare settings. Beginning her career as a Registered Nurse, she gained experience in dialysis, home health, medical-surgical nursing, and long-term care before continuing her education to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.

As her career progressed, Sandy expanded into Family Practice, Primary Care, Urgent Care, Occupational Health, and other areas of medicine. Her experience has taken her from traditional medical practices to hospice home visits, nursing homes, an infirmary, and other community settings, giving her the opportunity to care for people with many different health needs.

Home-based care and clinical leadership have also been meaningful parts of her professional background. Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Sandy spent several years in home health, serving in roles that included Director of Operations, Clinical Team Manager, Admission Nurse, and Staff Nurse. Earlier in her nursing career, she held leadership and care coordination positions in dialysis.

Sandy earned both her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner education from the Medical University of South Carolina, where she previously completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She began her nursing education at Richmond Community College and later completed additional training in clinical nurse consulting.

Her interest in health education has extended beyond individual patient care. Sandy contributed to a community initiative focused on educating children, parents, and communities about asthma in Marlboro County. Her career reflects a longstanding connection to community healthcare and experience caring for patients across many stages and settings.
