Leigh Crawford, MSN, FNP-C
My name is Leigh. I was born and raised in England, but moved to the Coastal Empire in 2001. My healthcare career began in 2006, after graduating with a degree in nursing from Armstrong Atlantic State University. My career started in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Memorial University Medical Center in Savannah. My bedside nursing career has also included work in the adult ICU and the emergency room. During my time in the Emergency Room, I earned my master's degree, graduating from Georgia Southern in 2019.
I joined Island Family Medicine in November 2021. Before that, I worked at an urgent care, honing my diagnostic and clinical care skills. I believe in treating the whole person and not just a problem. With that goal in mind, I am also Biote certified.
With my purpose and certifications, I help you manage your blood pressure or diabetes, and I can also assist with common issues associated with hormonal declines during aging, such as reversing fatigue, improving mood, and living a healthier, more enjoyable life.
