Jessicah Todd
From critical care nursing to family medicine, Jessicah Todd, FNP-BC, has built her clinical background around caring for patients through different stages of life and health. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, her training includes primary care for infants and adolescents, adults, women, and older adults, giving her experience with a wide range of patient needs.
Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, Jessicah worked in critical care at McLeod Health. There, she cared for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in the Trauma ICU and helped patients and families understand health concerns so they could make informed decisions about care. She later stepped into a Charge Nurse role, where she coordinated nursing care, worked alongside providers, and helped guide other nurses in care standards and patient safety.
Building trusting relationships is central to her approach. Her background includes patient counseling, treatment planning, chronic disease management, health assessments, and working with other healthcare professionals to keep care connected. With an earlier degree in psychology, she also brings an educational foundation in understanding people and behavior to her clinical experience.
Jessicah earned her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner from Francis Marion University in Florence, South Carolina, where she also completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the College of Charleston and is board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
Whether helping patients understand a treatment plan or working with the care team, Jessicah focuses on making healthcare feel clear, thoughtful, and supportive. She strives to help patients and families feel heard and informed as they make decisions about their health.
