Beverly Powell, AGPNP-C

With experience across primary care, internal medicine, rehabilitation, home health, long-term care, and other clinical settings, Beverly Powell brings a broad background to caring for adult and older adult patients. As a board-certified Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner, she has managed both acute and chronic health concerns, including diabetes, high blood pressure, kidney disease, wound care, infectious disease, pain management, anxiety, depression, and dementia.

A large part of her approach to care centers on listening. She has worked closely with patients, families, caregivers, physicians, and other members of the care team to develop treatment plans, explain test results and medications, and help patients better understand their health.

Her clinical experience also includes caring for patients with complex medical needs, including those recovering from spinal cord injuries, traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and other serious conditions. Along the way, she has remained focused on building trust, supporting wellness, and helping patients feel informed about the decisions affecting their care.

Beverly earned her Master of Science in Adult Geriatric Nurse Practitioner studies from South University in Savannah, Georgia. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Jacksonville University and an Associate of Science in Nursing from Gordon State College.

With experience across many levels of care, she brings a collaborative and patient-centered approach to each relationship. Her goal is to help patients and families feel informed, supported, and confident throughout the care process.
