Theresa Younis Announced as New Chief Compliance Officer
Your Health is pleased to announce the appointment of Theresa Younis, BSN, RN, as Chief Compliance Officer.
A respected healthcare executive and registered nurse with more than four decades of leadership experience, Younis brings extensive expertise in healthcare compliance, quality improvement, regulatory oversight, operational leadership, and patient-centered care. Throughout her distinguished career, she has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to advancing quality, safety, and ethical practices across the healthcare continuum.
In her previous role as Chief Quality Officer at Your Health, Younis led enterprise-wide quality initiatives and implemented performance improvement strategies that significantly improved patient outcomes, staff engagement, patient satisfaction, and CMS Star Ratings. Her leadership has helped establish a culture centered on accountability, continuous improvement, and excellence in care delivery.
As Chief Compliance Officer, Younis will oversee the organization's compliance and ethics program, ensuring adherence to federal and state regulations, strengthening risk management initiatives, and promoting a culture of integrity across all operations.

Previously, she served as President of LTC Health Solutions; she has also served as an Administrator and Director of Nursing in skilled nursing facilities, a Wellness Nurse and Administrator in Assisted Living, and an RN Case Manager, Director of Nursing, Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and Chief Executive Officer for Hospice. Earlier in her career, she held leadership roles with Lutheran Homes of South Carolina and Pruitt Health, gaining broad experience across hospice, palliative care, skilled nursing, community-based care, compliance, operations, contract services, fiscal management, and organizational leadership.
Younis has also been an active leader in healthcare advocacy and professional organizations. She served as Chair of the Board of Directors for the Carolinas Center for Hospice and Palliative Care, among other professional affiliations dedicated to advancing quality healthcare and patient outcomes.
A graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, Younis earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has dedicated more than 40 years to improving the lives of patients and families through excellence in geriatrics, hospice, palliative care, and senior healthcare services.
